The first hidden Liverpool pop up event to raise awareness of the project and gain public support (to apply for Heritage Lottery Funding) on Saturday the 9th April was well attended and a huge success.
PLACED took over the old Rapid store on Renshaw Street and the cafe area at the Bluecoat arts gallery to host an interactive exhibition and workshops for students, all focusing on the ever increasing number of significant derelict building in Liverpool.
Visitors were asked if they knew of any buildings that perhaps they used to work in or visited, that were now no longer used and were inaccessible. These memories were then plotted on a large map of Liverpool with luggage tags.
